For those that don’t already know I’m part of a drag racing team called Humpy Racing. After a six month break we were back on the quarter mile on Saturday.
I’ve been taking been taking photos of the Team for many years now and this was one of the main reasons why I decided to buy my first SLR, which I got just before our last race.
I really relish the opportunity to try and find new ways to capture something I’ve been photographing for so long. I’m really proud of my efforts in the most recent race.

Are you looking out me?! A big burnout from one of the competitors at the February 2010 round of the Australian Nostalgia Drag Racing series held at Willowbank Raceway. I was crewing for Humpy Racing but in between the racing and taking photos for the Team, I had a few opportunities to take photos of some of the other competitors as well as the show n’ shine.
